ORC Week 3: Flooring Transformation

Welcome back to Week 3 of the One Room Challenge! If you've been following along, you know how much progress we've already made in this space. This week, we're tackling one of the most transformative elements of any room: flooring. A beautiful floor can completely change the look and feel of a room, and I can't wait to share what we did!

Why I Chose This Flooring

Choosing the right flooring is such an important decision. It’s not just about aesthetics (though that’s a huge factor, let’s be honest!). Durability, comfort, and budget all come into play. For this project, I wanted something that:

• Elevates the space visually: I wanted something timeless and neutral that complements the other design choices in the room.

• Durable: This room will see a lot of foot traffic, so the flooring needed to stand the test of time.

• Budget-friendly: While I’m willing to invest in quality, I needed to stick to my budget, and there are some great affordable options out there!

I ended up choosing Pergo Silo Oak and I’m so thrilled with how it looks.

What’s Next

Next week is going to be all about wallpaper, and I’m really excited to keep the momentum going. Stay tuned as we get closer to the final reveal!
